Adirondack Park Agency OKs huge resort for Tupper Lake

(January 21, 2012) A 6,000-plus acre resort proposed for Tupper Lake has passed the Adirondack Park Agency by a vote of 10 to 1. This proposal illuminated the challenges and the tensions surrounding economic development and environmental protection in the Adirondacks. Construction will  likely start in 2013.
